Window Installation Services
1. Delivery of Design
Designs are produced as temporary decals and installed on the outside of your windows.
2. Design Adjustments and Mock Ups
Installations may not appear exactly as the digital design. Each decal will be adjusted to suit the dimensions and layout of your window. This ensures everything fits and works seamlessly (e.g. scaling, cropping, or repositioning of elements may be required).
You will receive the final mock up for approval before installation.
3. Pre-existing decal or film on windows
We can install over existing decals, stickers, or films. But it is the client's responsibility to let us know ahead of time. We also can not guarantee there will be no damage to your existing decal upon removal.
4. Measurement Accuracy
Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements of windows.
Any discrepancies between provided measurements and actual dimensions may result in additional charges or delays.
5. How to care for your artwork
During the time your artwork is up, we recommend very light cleaning of your windows. Pressure cleaning can damage your windows.
Awol Creations is not liable for any damage caused by cleaning, tampering, or misuse.
6. Access to Windows
The window must be accessible on the scheduled installation day.
Windows must be unobstructed: no hedges, furniture, or other blockages.
Any delays caused by restricted access may incur additional fees.
7. Installation Schedule
Installations will occur as per the agreed timeline.
8. Materials and Paint
All decal materials are professional-grade, removable, and safe for glass surfaces.
Removal is straightforward and should not leave residue when done correctly.
Scratches can only occur if: your windows are not glass, your window surface is defective, or your windows have pre-existing damage.
9. Window preparation
Clients are responsible for ensuring their windows are clean before installation.
Any stickers, adhesives, or old decals must be removed prior.
A cleaning fee may apply if Awol Creations must prepare windows.
10. Payment Terms
We must receive payment in order to begin setting up your design for print.
Payment is expected within 3 days of receiving the invoice.
If payment is not received within this timeframe, your booking may be forfeited and offered to another client.
11. Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event of cancellation, payment made is non-refundable.
12. Damage and Liability
Awol Creations takes utmost care during installation and the removal process. We use industry-standard blades for paint removal. We are not liable for pre-existing scratches, etching, vandalism or defects. We are not liable for scratches, etching, vandalism or defects that may become visible more than a day after paint removal.
Awol Creations takes no responsibility if paint becomes stuck in pre-existing scratches in your windows.
13. We can not paint
Textured windows.
Slats.
Non glass surfaces.
14. Photographic Use
Awol Creations reserves the right to photograph completed installations for promotional purposes.
Clients must notify Awol Creations in writing if they do not wish to have their installation photographed.
15. Intellectual Property
Designs are strictly protected and must not be replicated or reused under any circumstances. Failure to comply may result in legal action. All designs remain the intellectual property of Awol Creations.
16. Force Majeure
Awol Creations is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside of its control.
In the unlikely event Awol Creations has to cancel, you will be given a full refund.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By checking the box and booking your window installation services with Awol Creations, you agree to these terms and conditions.
