By participating in the Christmas Window Program, the participating business agrees to the following:

1. Permission to Install

The business confirms that it has authority to approve the installation of Christmas window artwork at the nominated premises and grants permission for Awol Creations and its contractors to install and remove the approved artwork.

If required, it is the business’s responsibility to obtain permission from the property owner, landlord or centre management prior to installation.

 

2. Window Selection

Artwork will be installed on the windows nominated for the program.

For returning businesses, Awol Creations may use existing window measurements and installation areas from previous years unless advised otherwise.

If the shopfront, windows or nominated installation area has changed, the business must notify Awol Creations prior to artwork production.

 

3. Artwork Selection

Businesses may select their preferred artwork from the Christmas designs provided by Awol Creations.

If a design is not selected by the required deadline, the business authorises Awol Creations to select a suitable design on its behalf.

Artwork may be resized, repositioned or adjusted to best suit the dimensions and layout of each individual shopfront.

 

4. Installation Access

Businesses must ensure that the nominated windows are reasonably accessible for installation and removal.

Any access restrictions, security requirements, trading hours or other relevant information must be provided in advance.

 

5. Window Condition, Existing Decals & Damage

Businesses must disclose any existing decals, vinyl, window film, tinting, signage, coatings or other treatments applied to the nominated windows prior to installation.

The business is responsible for ensuring that the nominated windows are in suitable condition for the application and removal of temporary decals.

Awol Creations will take reasonable care during installation and removal. However, Awol Creations is not responsible for pre-existing damage or deterioration, or for damage to existing decals, vinyl, signage, films, tinting, coatings or other window treatments resulting from the application or removal of the Christmas artwork.

If Awol Creations considers a window or existing treatment unsuitable for installation, the artwork placement may be adjusted or the affected window may be excluded from the installation.

 

6. Installation & Removal

Christmas artwork will remain installed for the duration of the Christmas program and will be removed by Awol Creations during the nominated removal period.

Businesses should not remove, reposition or alter the artwork themselves unless arranged with Awol Creations or the relevant Council/Town Centre.

 

7. Photography & Promotion

Completed installations may be photographed or filmed for the purpose of documenting and promoting the Christmas Window Program.

The business permits Awol Creations and the relevant Council/Town Centre to use this content for program promotion, social media, websites and portfolio purposes.

 

8. Changes or Withdrawal

If a business can no longer participate, Awol Creations and/or the relevant Council/Town Centre should be notified as soon as possible, before artwork has entered production.

 

Business Acknowledgement

By submitting the participation form, the business confirms that the information provided is correct, agrees to these Terms & Conditions and gives permission for Awol Creations to install and subsequently remove the Christmas artwork from the nominated premises.
